Lejla-Durakovic

My name is Lejla (pronounced as Layla). I was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina - hence the
funky spelling of my name! I moved to the USA in my early twenties, studied to become a teacher and
worked as a child care professional for years while living in Chicago.
After marrying my husband Adam (who is in the Air Force), the two of us, our boy Aiden (now 5) and dog
Arie spent a few years moving from place to place (we even lived South in Korea for a year) and we
finally settled here in Vegas.
Since my friends always use to tell me I would be an amazing real estate agent and after toying with the
idea for a long time, I finally decided to try my luck in the real-estate business. I studied hard, took my
test and passed at my first attempt and found myself facing a variety companies that wanted me to join
them. For me, the choice was clear from the get-go: I knew I was to join the Keller Williams Realty Las
Vegas! In my opinion, they have the best reputation in the industry for providing great education and
taking their team members under their wing and into their amazing family of agents!
I quickly gathered that my friends were onto something; my years in working with children and their
parents helped me easily understand people in depth, with the ability to quickly read their wants and
needs and know what "must-haves" sometimes mean to families.
Finding your perfect home is a great step and should be fun! I will listen to your needs and make sure
they are met. When we find ‘the one’, I will fight hard for you and be your loudest advocate, helping to
broker the best possible deal for you. From the initial contact to the final inspection, I will work tirelessly
to represent your interest and see you through to the moving day.
When I am not searching listings, showing houses and meeting with clients, I am spending time with my
boys, hiking and climbing mountains, and enjoying the sunshine and the dessert!
